Sacred Ash · Golden Rebirth · Radiant Renewal
Phoenix is an herbal blend inspired by the legendary bird of sun and fire—a creature of cyclical transformation, unyielding hope, and the light that emerges after the dark.
Created to embody the energy of starting anew, Phoenix is vibrant, warming, and uplifting. It carries the atmosphere of golden morning sunlight breaking through smoke, sparkling inspiration, and waking up the spirit.
A blend for moments when you are shedding the old, rising above challenges, and stepping into your brightest self.
Sensory Profile: A radiant, bright-amber pour that hits the palate with a bold, juicy citrus spark before settling into a deep, comforting, and throat-warming spice finish.
Affirmation: From the ashes, rise and begin again.
Key Botanicals History
Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) is directly named in Ovid’s Metamorphoses as one of the fragrant botanicals gathered for the Phoenix’s nest before its death and rebirth. The classical account places cinnamon alongside cassia, nard, and myrrh in the nest where the Phoenix ends one life and gives rise to the next.
Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) has a direct connection to the Phoenix through Ovid’s account as well: the bird is said to live on the fragrant “juice of amomum,” alongside frankincense, before gathering its aromatic nest. Later scholarship identifies Ovid’s amomum tradition with cardamom, while noting that the exact ancient botanical identity is not necessarily identical to modern Elettaria cardamomum.
