  • Herbs have incredible beneficial properties for the skin. A facial steam is a great way for the skin to soak in the herbs. It is suggested to take a few moments to connect to the plants – smell them, touch them, and reflect on their medicinal and spiritual attributes. Don't forget to speak your intentions into your herbal blend!

    Add 1–2 tablespoons of the herbal face steam blend to the bowl and allow the botanicals to steep for several moments as the aromatic steam begins to rise.

    Position your face comfortably above the bowl at a distance that feels warm but not overwhelming. A light cloth or towel may be draped over the head to gently contain the steam.

    Allow the herbal vapors to bathe the skin for 5–10 minutes, breathing slowly and allowing the warmth to soften the face and open the pores.

    When finished, gently pat the skin dry and follow with your preferred facial oil, hydrosol, or moisturizer while the skin remains warm and receptive.

    This practice may be enjoyed once weekly or as desired as part of a calm skincare ritual.
